Thank you very much to everyone who auditioned for SOMETHING ROTTEN! We were truly overwhelmed and humbled by your talent and enthusiasm. Casting this show was truly an extraordinarily difficult process -- we wish we could have cast everybody who auditioned for us. We really appreciate the time and effort you put into your auditions.

You have the duration of Signing Period to accept or decline your role. Remember, we cannot initiate contact with you during this time. Please reach out to our team anytime if you have any questions or concerns about your role(s), our process, or the show itself. We want to hear from you!

Every role in the show will have an opportunity to sing, dance (including tap), and act. There is no part without significant stage time. Additional named roles and doublings will be assigned following signing period -- everybody currently cast in an unnamed role should expect to play at least one additional specific character and/or be added to an additional ensemble.

All performances will take place on the Loeb Proscenium. Performance dates and times are as follows:

We unfortunately cannot share actors with IN THE HEIGHTS, MIRA,MIRA, IOLANTHE, or THE EFFECT and strongly discourage actors from doing both SOMETHING ROTTEN! and METAMORPHOSIS. If you are considering signing onto multiple shows, you MUST reach out to the stage managers of those shows before signing. Our first read-through will take place from 1 - 6 pm on Sunday, September 11th. We could not be more excited to get started!
