Thank you all so much for auditioning for Twelve Ophelias! It was a great pleasure to work with such an incredible pool of auditionees.

All cast members are expected to attend our read-through on Saturday Feb. 8th at 12:00pm in the Adams Pool Theater. If you sign and have a conflict, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can reschedule your costume consultation.

We will have a get-together with TEATRO!, Hyperion, 12O staff and cast, and other members of our community on Thursday Feb. 6th at 7:30pm in the Lowell Screening Room (basement, text if you get lost). Feel free to drop by regardless of casting results.

Please be advised that this show contains strong content for certain characters, including the use of slurs (H, Ophelia), discussion of sex work (Mina, Gertrude, Ophelia), stage combat (H, Rude Boy), emotional abuse (Rude Boy, H, Ophelia), and a reference to a miscarriage (Ophelia, Mina). All choreographed intimacy in the show (Ophelia, Rude Boy, H) represents consensual acts and will be blocked with full regard and respect for the actors' comfort. Please reach out to Amanda if you have any specific questions about this.

Our show goes up April 16-19 in the Pool. Besides our dedicated staff, we are also collaborating with the OFA and playwright Caridad Svich, who will likely visit us in rehearsal as a guest artist a few weeks before we open, dates TBD.
