The executive staff of BLKS would like to sincerely thank everyone for taking time out of an already jam-packed week to show us your remarkable talent by auditioning for our show. The auditions alone brought us immense joy, and we're excited to keep the energy up through December as we produce one of the funniest, memorable BlackCAST shows ever!

We also appreciate everyone's willingness to get comfortable with discomfort, as this show is unquestionably for an adult audience. We went bold, but your performances went bolder in the best possible ways.

Our residency in the Agassiz Theatre is November 27-December 10. Load-in and strike will occur on the first and last dates of our residency, respectively. Ensure you are available both days. Our planned show dates are Thursday, December 7 at 7:30 PM
Friday, December 8 at 7:30 PM
Saturday, December 9 at 2:00 PM
Saturday, December 9 at 7:30 PM
Sunday, December 10 at 2:00 PM
so mark your calendars!

We may be able to share actors with other shows, though we request that you ask us first. During signing period, our team cannot initiate contact with you, but you can contact Director Kayla ([email protected]), Co-SM Aleisha ([email protected]), or Co-SM Sarah ([email protected]) with any questions or concerns, and we will answer them promptly. The deadline to sign for the show is Wednesday, Sept 13 at 6 pm, or your role will go to an alternate.

We plan to hold our first table read this Friday from 7-9pm. Contact us if you have any conflicts with this time.

Though we weren't able to offer everyone a role, there is certainly room for you to be involved with the production in other ways. Contact us if you're interested. Everyone who has auditioned (even That Bitch on the Couch!) has a home in BlackCAST.
