Thank you to everyone who auditioned! We were overwhelmed by the talent present at auditions and callbacks and decisions were very hard to make.

Our performances will be April 21st-23rd in the Adams Pool Theater. Please ensure that you will be available for the entire week April 17th-23rd for tech/dress rehearsals, and performances. If you have any conflicts, please send a message to the show contact email ASAP so that we can work with you.

Our first read through is tentatively scheduled for March 1st. Regular rehearsals will begin after Spring Break. A more in-depth rehearsal schedule will be made available in about a week. Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions or concerns.

The story opens on him as a teenager, and ends with him on his death bed at 81 years old. Throughout the show, Leonardo struggles with his identity as a painter, a son, and a friend. A lot of solo singing and acting.

A young man, the same age as Leonardo throughout the production. Loves Leonardo deeply, but only platonically. Full of confidence and life—the sun to Leonardo’s blue sky, if you will.

Mother of Leonardo. Full of pure love for her son. Cares deeply about his well being, even when she is not directly involved in his life. Mostly solo singing, some acting.

He is a mysterious visitor with nefarious intentions for Leonardo, linking with Michaelangelo only to see that purpose unfold.

He is a young boy. He likes to cause trouble because he finds it amusing, but draws the line where serious damage occurs. Very stubborn, but also very loyal.

Zoro/Boy 3

They are a fun-loving, fourth-wall breaking, tornado of energy and optimism at a very dark part of the show.

Jacopo/Michelangelo

Jacopo is a young male prostitute. Very laid back.
Michelangelo is also a young man, but rigid and often full of anger. Deeply despises Leonardo.
A moderate amount of solo singing and acting.

Verrochio/Ludovico/Leo

Verrocchio is a middle aged man who loves Leonardo, sees his potential, and wants what’s best for him.
Ludovico is a middle aged, selfish, and extravagant nobleman who is used to getting his way. He appears to think very highly of himself, but is more concerned with ensuring that other people think very highly of him.
Leo is a rigid older man.
A lot of solo singing and acting.
