City of Peace Callbacks

Thank you so much for auditioning for City of Peace! Our team really enjoyed watching each of your wonderful auditions, and are excited to proceed to callbacks. We would like to note that we are holding callbacks only for lead characters, and those who did not receive a callback may still be cast.

Please read ALL of the information below:

CAREFULLY READ YOUR CHARACTER’S SPECIFIC SCHEDULE. If you are asked to call back for multiple characters and are confused about your specific schedule, please contact us directly: [email protected] or 617-301-3467.

Please consult the Google Drive linked here to find callback musical materials and script excerpts to read. Materials for Saturday's auditions have been uploaded, and materials for Sunday's audition will be uploaded tomorrow.

Actors should arrive 15 minutes early for each callback, and vocally warm up before the callback begins.

A student of philosophy from Bratsky Monastery. Despite being very devout, he is in the midst of a crisis of faith that he hopes can be resolved through pious acts.

Your callbacks are TODAY, Saturday, September 6th, from 12PM to 3PM in the Horner Room at the Agassiz Theater! Make sure to also come on Sunday, from 12PM to 1PM to Farkas 303 for your dance callbacks. Again, please make sure to come to the venue 15 minutes early and vocally warm up prior to coming!

A student of theology and Khoma’s peer from Bratsky Monastery. He is somewhat absurd and not very devout. He wants to go on summer vacation.

The elder daughter of the Sotnyk. Tired of the constant neglect and disregard from her father, she creates an elaborate plot to murder him.

Your callbacks are on Sunday, September 7th, from 11AM to 4PM. From 11AM to 12PM, you will have the first part of your acting call backs on the Agassiz Theater Stage! From 12PM to 1PM you will have a lunch break. From 1PM to 2PM, you will go to Farkas 303 for your dance callback. After that, you will return to the Agassiz Theater Stage for 2 more hours, from 2PM to 4PM. Again, please make sure to come to the venue 15 minutes early and vocally warm up prior to coming!

The younger daughter of the Sotnyk. She is considered to be a witch by the residents of the town. After being murdered by Khoma, her corpse haunts the village, tormenting the residents with her supernatural powers.

Your callbacks are on Sunday, September 7th, from 10AM to 2PM. From 10AM to 12PM you will have your acting callbacks on the Agassiz Theater Stage! From 12PM to 1PM you will have a lunch break. The father of Pul’kheriia and the Vid’ma and the leader of the village. He despises Pul’kheriia and refuses to acknowledge the Vid’ma’s past wrongdoing.

Your callbacks are on Sunday, September 7th, from 12PM to 5PM. From 12PM to 1PM, you will have your dance callbacks at Farkas 303. From 1PM to 2PM you will have a lunch break. From 2PM to 5PM you will have acting auditions on the Agassiz Theater Stage! Again, please make sure to come to the venue 15 minutes early and vocally warm up prior to coming!
