Cast List for:
Romeo & Juliet
Thank you all so much for auditioning for Romeo & Juliet! This week has been a dream for us, and you all are fantastic performers and human beings. As this is a new production—the first of its kind in Harvard theater—you ALL have contributed to the show with your presence this week. We saw a beautiful quality unique to every one of you, and we hope you had as much fun as we did!
Romeo & Juliet will have performances in the Loeb Ex from November 14 - 17, with mandatory strike after the closing show on November 17. Our show dates and times are below.
Thursday, November 14 at 8pm
Friday, November 15 at 8pm
Saturday, November 16 at 2pm
Saturday, November 16 at 8pm
Sunday, November 17 at 2pm
In the coming days, please watch for an email with an onboarding form so that rehearsals can be scheduled as soon as possible. If you’re concerned about your time commitments, please reach out to the stage managers for more information. If you are planning to perform in any other shows—INCLUDING dance shows, such as HRMDC or HBC—you MUST reach out to the stage manager and directors of both shows before you can sign for more than one show. Please reach out to us if you are planning to perform in multiple shows this season regardless of their timing in the semester.
Those unsure about signing for their role are highly encouraged to reach out to any member of the team below—you do not have to be certain about your decision. Those cast in alternate roles are welcome to reach out as well, whether the role has officially been offered to you yet or not. If you need additional support with using the HRDC Common Casting portal to sign for your role, you are also welcome to reach out.
Please also note that the gender presentation of the character will be discussed between the performer and director (or team member) to honor the dancer’s wishes and narrative of the overarching production.
Because this show takes place in the Loeb Drama Center, all actors MUST read the TECH REQ REQUIREMENTS and SIGN UP FOR A TECH REQ at this link: go.hrdctheater.org/f24techreqs before signing for a role.
Finally, this is a friendly reminder that our team CANNOT contact you first during the signing period. If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us - we would love to chat with you! Our contact information is below:
