Thank you all so much for auditioning for Romeo & Juliet! As we shared in preliminary auditions, you are all amazing artists and human beings, and we are so grateful for all the care and energy you poured into auditions this week. We can’t wait to make a one-of-a-kind production with your talents!

Some dancers have specific character callbacks from 4 - 6:15PM and 6:15 - 8PM TODAY (Sat, September 7) in the LOEB DRAMA CENTER Dance Studio (64 Brattle St, Cambridge, MA 02138).

Individual character information is provided below. Gender notation—(F), (M), (M/F)—indicates character gender. In the case of gender-flexible roles (M/F), gender presentation of the character will be discussed between the performer and director (or team member) to honor the dancer’s wishes and narrative of the overarching production after casting.

Please be sure to arrive ten minutes early to each callback. As we noted in preliminaries, those who did not receive character callbacks are still under active consideration for casting!

Finally, we will have second round callbacks for the roles of Juliet and Romeo tomorrow from 3 - 5:30 PM in the Loeb Dance Studio (64 Brattle St, Cambridge, MA 02138). We will inform actors if they received a second round callback by 11:59 pm tonight. Further information regarding second round callbacks will be given to the eligible actors at their first round callbacks later today.
