ABOUT THE SHOW
In the SciBox (Science Center Room 302).
Shiver is a student-written play illustrating the experiences of Ignota, a young woman with manic depression. Figment, a manifestation of her madness, makes her promise never to die or medicate so that he can continue to exist. Ignota must ultimately choose between her love for her own madness and true self (which she perceives to include her madness), and freedom from the restrictions that her madness creates for her.
This performance will include projections of images and videos, which may affect people with epilepsy.
