ABOUT THE SHOW

35mm is a song cycle with music and lyrics by the brilliant Ryan Scott Oliver that explores the overlap of photography and music, two methods of vivid storytelling. Each song is inspired by a photograph by Matthew Murphy, exploring a moment frozen in time, a glimpse into a story. Audiences are taken into each slice of these stories visually, by observing the picture, and aurally, with the addictive pop-rock soundtrack. This multi-sensory experience is a unique and progressive take on what musical theater can be.
