Patric C.W. Verrone's wry and heartfelt update of Ernest Hemingway's groundbreaking novel of a similar name focuses on Princeton dropout Jake Barnes and his group of partying, philosophizing "expat" friends as they prepare to rage at Pampalana-- the dopest music festival on the west coast. 'Son' explores what it means to be young in the 21st century and thirsty for identity, purpose, and a rum & Coke.
